Sachin Tendulkar And Kapil dev

Sachin Tendulkar And Kapil dev

Kapil Dev had said Sachin Tendulkar didn't know how to get more than just hundreds and that he spent time with Mumbai cricketers who played 'neat and straight cricket.

Kapil Dev's criticism of Sachin Tendulkar in Dubai has attracted sharp reactions from the Mumbai cricket fraternity.
"He (Sachin) got stuck with Bombay cricket. He didn't apply himself to ruthless international cricket. I think he should have spent more time with Vivian Richards than some of the Bombay guys who played just neat and straight cricket. He did not know how to make double hundreds, triple hundreds and 400 though he had the ability, and was stuck in the Mumbai school of cricket," Kapil Dev was quoted as saying yesterday by Khaleej Times in Dubai.
Ajit Wadekar, former India and Mumbai captain, felt Kapil's comments in a way displayed a dislike for Mumbai cricket and cricketers, which some cricketers from other regions had in earlier years. Wadekar said: "Yes, in a way, I can sense that dislike. I have been experiencing it since my University cricket days. A lot of Northern players disliked us. They enjoyed staying in Mumbai, but not playing against Mumbai.
"In the final analysis, Sachin scored the maximum runs and is a true legend, and where Mumbai cricket is concerned, - we always - everyone including Sachin and Sunil Gavaskar - played for the team and not for ourselves. That's why we won the Ranji Trophy 40 times. We knew how to win."

SA Vs India Match Fixed........

India Lost match by himself not by SA ..

India's defeat in the series before the series began, was settled. If the team did not play to win, and he was to play each other in the defeat. That is why India Team Effort from the series did not win any match and did not see any team playing together. Ridden team made easy work of scattered playing South Africa. Dhoni, Kohli isolated individual performances aside, together with the team ever wins that game did not see any for India, while on the other hand, not only for South Africa but de Villiers and du Plessis de Kock, Morkel, Steyn, Rbada have also done well in the time and played a key role in his team's victory. But the same can not be said for India not only because of batting bowling but there was scattered on the front side completely. That is why, despite winning two matches together as a team to perform well India failed.

Dhoni And Kholi Play, India Lose..

Dhoni and Kohli shine alone, the team loses ..

Before the Start of the Series, Dhoni, Kohli Dispute between split into the Team of Two Accused were Factions. The thing about this Series and on each occasion also appeared divided SAW Substantially Team. Like the T20 Series Since defeat in the First Match and Losing then was criticized at its Peak in the Indore ODI Dhoni Dhoni scored 92 Playing Alone Win the Rest of the Team but also emerged Batsman Dhoni Dhoni Got Alone As the Star and Win. That was the victory of the Team in the Recent One-Day old Chennai, where Virat Kohli scored 138 Ajinkya Rahane scored Alone and with good batting steamed. The Player is considered Rahane Camp Kohli. That was when he criticized Dhoni batting Save to Win himself and then deliberate on when Kohli and Dhoni with the ODI Indore Poor batting , he was Accused of not hitting a century in Chennai Prove his critics Wrong tried. But Most of the Team's Star Player, who split in Camps throughout the Series Flopped, except Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan Far from the Batsman Raina Failed to Leave its mark . Mohit Sharma in Bowling or Bhubaneswar, they did not Leave Any Impression Morkel and Steyn.

In a Match that never seemed the whole Team Together to Have to Win the game, but it seemed to BE fewer people are playing for themselves and to each Other. Especially the Captain and Vice-Captain of the game then something SAW. Throughout the Series Two because of bad blood between the teams was divided and really SAW BE Chhain reported to the Team divided. Reason to retire of Virender Sehwag from international Cricket

Why Virender Sehwag retired from Internation Cricket

Virender Sehwag has indicated that he will retire from international cricket in order to take part in the Masters Champions League (MCL), a UAE-based Twenty20 tournament.

The rules of the MCL, which is scheduled to begin in January, state that players taking part must have retired from all international formats. On Monday, while reminded of this stipulation at an MCL event in Dubai, Sehwag said he would retire in order to play the tournament.

He later confirmed the news in a video interview with The Quint. "Yes I'm going to play this tournament," he said. "I will retire soon from international cricket. I'll announce it officially and then you people can get to know that and then I can take part in this tournament."

Sehwag added that his retirement would not just be from international cricket but the IPL as well. "I'll retire from international cricket and IPL so I will not be playing those leagues," he said. "So I will play only MCL."

Asked if he would miss international cricket, Sehwag gave a typically matter-of-fact reply. "The last couple of years I'm not playing. So I was missing [it] but now I am taking this decision that I'm going to retire very soon, so I'm pretty happy with my career."

Before his trip to Dubai, Sehwag had been captaining Haryana in the Ranji Trophy, and had scored two half-centuries in their first two matches of the season. He will be joining his Haryana team-mates in Mysore on October 21, and the Haryana Cricket Association secretary Anirudh Chaudhry has indicated Sehwag will play the rest of the season for the team.

The MCL, scheduled to start in January 2016, is due to feature a number of retired international greats. On Monday, the homepage of the MCL website sported an image of eight players lined up side-by-side, seen from the back. On the backs of seven T-shirts were the names 'Sangakkara', 'Gilchrist', 'Sehwag', 'Lara', 'Wasim', 'Kallis' and 'Mahela', with a question mark on the back of the eighth T-shirt. The MCL event did not declare names of the franchise teams that will be competing in the event.

Sehwag, a day short of his 37th birthday, is widely considered one of India's greatest opening batsmen, and revolutionised the art of batting against the new ball in Test cricket with his aggressive approach, scoring at a strike rate of over 80 in the longest format. Sehwag has been out of India's plans for over two years, having last played for the national side in the Hyderabad Test against Australia in March 2013.

Sehwag played 104 Tests, 251 ODIs and 19 T20Is, scoring over 17000 international runs and picking up 136 wickets with his offspin. His greatest moments came in Test cricket, where he made 23 hundreds including the only two triple-centuries by any Indian batsman, while his ODI achievements included the format's second double-hundred.

Zaheer Khan announces international retirement

India seamer Zaheer Khan has announced his retirement from international and first-class cricket. He will, however, continue to play in the IPL for one more season.

With 610 international wickets, Zaheer finishes as one of India's most successful bowlers, being the fourth-highest wicket-taker for India across formats. He has the second-highest wickets tally - 311 - for an India seamer in Tests, behind Kapil Dev's 434. Zaheer, though, played few international matches in recent years after being dogged by injuries. An injury he sustained to his bowling arm in May 2014 had put him out of action for a long time, although he managed to play seven games in this year's IPL.

While his final Test was against New Zealand in Wellington early last year, his last ODI was more than three years ago, against Sri Lanka in Pallekele. He ends his international career with 92 Tests, 200 ODIs and 17 T20Is to his name.

In a statement, Zaheer thanked his team-mates in the various sides he played for, and said his greatest moment was winning the World Cup in 2011. "Cricket has been my only life over the past two decades and is in fact the only thing I know well. Cricket has made me the individual that I am, giving me everything in life and much more. I walk away with fantastic memories, life-defining experiences and great friendships. My mother summarised it well in reaction to my decision: "Theek hain, bahut acchha safar tha hamara" (fair enough, I had a wonderful journey).

He traced his journey "as a kid from the small town of Shrirampur (Maharashtra)" to his stint at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore in 1996 and at the MRF Pace Academy to his eventual debut for India in 2000. Referring to a favourite newspaper headline, he hinted at his future plans, saying, "Zak is back' is perhaps a headline that may come my way again as I have every intention of giving back to this game."

Zaheer finishes his Test career with an average of 32.94 and ODI career with 282 wickets at 29.43. After his international debut in 2000, his most prominent performance in Tests came on the England tour of 2007 when he finished with 18 wickets at an average of 20.33. In ODIs, he played a vital role as the leader of the pace attack during India's victorious 2011 World Cup campaign with 21 wickets to finish as the join-highest wicket-taker.

"He feels with a hurt shoulder he cannot bowl at his best for him to perform at international level consistently, so he has decided to call it a day," Zaheer's mentor Sudhir Naik told ESPNcricinfo.

"He served Indian cricket with remarkable passion and commitment," BCCI preisdent Shashank Manohar said in a release. "Being a fast bowler in the Indian sub continent is challenging but he led the bowling attack with distinction and contributed significantly to the success of Indian cricket .I wish him all the best for the future."

Main reason to lost the today's match

India vs South Africa: 3rd ODI Match. South Africa Won the Match By 18 Runs. South Africa lead by the series 2-1. Earlier in the chase, all the usual stuff happened. Shikhar Dhawan failed, Rohit continued his good form cracking an elegant fifty, Dhoni (who promoted himself to no. 4) hung around. One positive for India though was Kohli’s return to form. Unfortunate that he couldn’t see his team over the line.
or a second successive chase, Suresh Raina fell to an Imran Tahir googly to put South Africa firmly in control of the match. Looking to go straight over the bowler’s head, Raina ended up skying the shot and David Miller at long-off settled under it to take a simple catch.

Dhoni and Kohli Clash

The personalities and philosophies of India's two captains could not be more different. That makes for a tricky situation, which India's cricket administration must handle well as ODI captain, MS Dhoni, the senior player of the two, effectively has the smaller gig to Virat Kohli's Test do.

When MS Dhoni shocked everybody on December 30 last year by announcing his Test retirement mid-series in Australia to concentrate on his limited-overs cricket and on taking the one-day team forward, he sent India into an uncharted era. To be pedantic, India split the captaincy for a while earlier too, but Dhoni played only 11 Tests under Anil Kumble before assuming full leadership, and both captains in that case were of largely similar temperament and philosophy. Also, Dhoni tasted immediate success in limited-overs cricket, and his Test captaincy was a natural progression.

This now is new. Dhoni is looking to extend his one-day career; he is going to play on at least until the World T20 in 2016. More importantly in the current scenario, the senior, more established captain has the lesser job and will be spending significantly less time with the team than Virat Kohli. Captains the world over relinquish the reins of ODI sides first. Misbah-ul-Haq plays Tests and Azhar Ali leads Pakistan in the one-dayers. Ditto Alastair Cook and Eoin Morgan. Not with Dhoni and Kohli. Getting the ODI captaincy first gives you a soft launch and you naturally progress to Tests, which are full of possibilities and thus demand more of a captain.

Even more importantly in India's case, the personnel for the teams are similar but the personality and philosophies of the leaders could not be more different. In his first Test as captain - as a stand-in at that - and in the frying pan that is playing in Australia, Kohli opted for pace, pace, pace, and a rookie legspinner ahead of a left-arm spinner many believe to be limited and an offspinner who had been tried without rewards in overseas Tests. The thinking was: fingerspinners don't get wickets in Australia, and Kohli didn't want his spinner to do a mere holding job. Another possible explanation was lack of patience, or trying to pull a rabbit out of the hat with not much to lose because he was supposed to have just one Test as captain back then.

Dhoni is more pragmatic. He has reason to be so. India's fast bowlers and spinners are not accurate away from home. They don't offer him the luxury to attack. Dhoni doesn't rage against the machine. He began to gradually ask less of them. Long before the BCCI sent that press release on December 30, 2014, Dhoni had already resigned as a bowlers' captain in Tests away from home. The Lord's Test, when he asked Ishant Sharma to bowl bouncers in the fourth innings, was one last flicker. In the next Test, hampered by Ishant's injury, Dhoni was back to getting Ravindra Jadeja to bowl 12 overs into the pads of left-hand batsmen with a 6-3 leg-side field in the second session of the first day. As if with Ishant injured, Dhoni was back to being jaded with the bowling.
